Interior Architecture & Design
Examples of some recent academic projects that showcase the core design concept, approach, process and final outcome.

Interior Design Concepts, Inspiration and Approach
"A Study in the Clouds" was a part of my Portfolio 1 submission (June 2024) at the Parsons School of Design (New York), Summer Intensive Studies (SIS) Program in Interior Design Studio (IDS). A detailed Section Plan (Scale: 1"=12') for a model, urban, shared-work site was envisioned inside an industrial loft space with a large, ceiling-suspended, metallic, origami-crane, light-fixture that is inspired by László Moholy-Nagy's 1946 piece, "Dual Form with Chromium Rods". (Note: Scale: 1"=2'9" for the "South Facing Window Detail" drawing).

Interior Design Portfolio
My final design project, "A Gallery of Memory & Mosaics" (Portfolio 2)*, was a requirement to successfully complete the Summer Intensive Studies (SIS) in Interior Design Studio (IDS) at Parsons School of Design, NY (June 2024). These are photographs, drawings with an AutoCAD 2D rendering for my portfolio: a scalable, live-work studio (inspired by Isamu Noguchi’s 1961 studio space in Queens, NY) created for South Korean glass artist, Ki-Ra Kim (Loewe Craft Prize 2024 finalist).

*(Note: The SIS-IDS Portfolio 2 at Parsons required students to select an artist who was a 2024 Loewe Craft Prize finalist and create a scalable, live-work studio space for them using the existing architectural dimensions of Noguchi's studio in Queens, NY.)
Included here are (from top left in clockwise direction):
Site Analysis drawing (Scale: 1"=55'); AutoCAD 2D Floor Plan (Scale: 1/8"=1'); Aerial View photograph of the model (Scale: 1"=3'), which was handmade and sustainably-crafted; Section Plan (Scale: 1/8"=1'); Materials Palette for making the studio and an image of the "Standing House" by Ki-Ra Kim (Image credit: The Loewe Foundation) - a sculptural piece made of glass and metal, which was the main architectural and design inspiration for this model, live-work studio.
